Anyone have any quick fixes for keeping snails from falling into overflow that wouldnt be too tough to implement? I swear at least two Nassarius fall in there every other day. The little suckers are becoming quite a pain. I have to dig them out of the sump, or reach down into the overflow..

I have dual overflows on each end made of acrylic. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yeah. That happens once in a while. What you should do is this.

Take some plexi-glass or anything straight and can be glued to the overflow.

Use silicone or whatever you choose to glue .make a surrounding "fence" I drew a diagram. The design I thought of was logical. While if the fence was straight out, the snail could climb upside down and eventually try to get over. With this you lower the plexi down and the nass will never get onto the fence because of the angle and it's shell wouldn;'t physically alow it!!!

Take a look!
