Would this sump design work?

Would this sump design (http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL174/1020046/1904379/23697031.jpg) work? It’s a modification of dog’s reef sump (http://www.angelfire.com/ok/dog1/sumps.html). Do you have any suggestions for it? Thanks.

I can't see any reason that it wouldn't work. Only thing I can suggest is that you really don't needthe bio balls. Unless you clean them regularly they will trap detritus and other junk and will become a pain in the butt..

This is the design (http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL174/1020046/1904379/23706986.jpg) with a few changes and some dimensions added. It’s still not quite down to scale and I’m going to have to make the baffle area a little bigger. I also was wondering if its ok to have the skimmer hooked up before the refugium. Thanks.
