cool touch lighting

has anyone been using the cool touch ballast on ebay for an extened period. this seems like a great deal. almost too good. i am thinking of getting the triple 400w for my 135. any feedback would be great before i spend 400$.

Been running the 3x250 for about 2 weeks now w/ no problems. The first couple of days, the ballast puts out an odor, but it goes away after about a week. I ordered mine w/ the pulse start ballasts so I could run the Ushio bulbs. You may want to do a search on this ballast to be sure it suits your needs.

with the pulse start it should fire 20k radiums right?

It's my understanding that it will, but I'd do a search to be sure.
