I am having trouble finding someone in Michigan to build a custom tank in my home. I cannot get the tank I really want into the basement, so I need to find someone who will build it. If anyone can help please let me know.

why donĀ“t you build it yourself??
I build mine, and had no problems with it, but I read a lot of info in "aboutsaltwater.com" ( I think it is called like that)
It cracked but it was not my fault, but a defective stand which I replaced.

CherryProperty,

I have been looking for an in-house tank builder for over a year with no success. I finally decided to have several smaller tanks built and delivered. It just means I have more glass to clean. One moving company wanted $1900.00 to move a 785g gallon tank into my house. They were going to crane it over the house, then decided that the crane would be so large that it wouldnt be able to come down our street. Then they decided they would need to build a ramp system to get the tank down into the backyard and that would be an all day project...hence the large price tag of 1900. Good luck finding someone, if you do, send me a private message.

I built my own 750 gallon in my house. 10' x 4' x 30" Made out of 1 1/4" thick Polycast. Would be glad to build another :D I have been an acrylic fabricator to 9yrs. When tanks are this large it is really the only way to go(build in place) so much less hastle to not deal with shipping and moving companies.

I thought I saw a gal on here from Arizona (I can't remember her screen name) who had Oceanic come out and install some sort of 300 - 600 gallon tank in her house, she posted pictures about it. I am sure it cost a lot of money for sure.
