G-1 skimmero help

hey all i need help adusting my G-1 protein skimmer so that it collects the foam what is the proper height for the discharge tube and what should the consistancy of the foam be thanks

I would start with the begining foam height up to near the bottom of the collection cup and tweak from their. You should get a fairly dark, dry foam that collects into nasty near black skimate.

Each system will be different in the amount of "nastiness" that is available for removal by the skimmer, so the exact settings may be quite different than the "tank next door." They will produce a dark, dry foam though.
