I am thinking about gettign double ended bulbs but want to avoid spending 200.00 on the pendants alone if possible. I have heard rumours that bulbs run better because they are hotter in a pendant. true? If it is not, how can I mount a dual ended bulb. I know I have to have a uv shield and I can arrange for that, but should they be fan cooled? Maybee a stupid question but I know little about double ended bulbs.
