I have this red macro growing in my main tank. It is filled with a gelatenous type material.
Is this a good type to have in the main tank?

Thanks Minh,
But what is it? And, is it reef safe?
By the way, what kind of doctor are you?

Well it's definately a Rhodophyta (red algae) but I'm looking and not sure what type.

Check these websites:
http://www.sportesport.it/red_algae.htm - 12 pages!
http://www.sonoma.edu/biology/algae/Red.html

Good luck + HTH,
Kevin

Great links kmk2307! Thanks.
I didn't find an exact match, although two specimens on page 7 and one on page 8 of the first link look similar.
