New to Mushrooms Questions

Hello, I'm new to mushrooms but I have 3 different kinds in the tank. Purple, Neon Greenish, and dark green with red stripes.

Sorry, I don't know much about mushrooms but they looked kool in the store and I was told they will do well in my tank. (and they appear to be as of today.)

Questions:

My Mushrooms seems to shrink and grow...is this normal?
How long does it take for mushrooms to multiply?

Like everything in the world, it depends.
I have a 29 gal tall with flourescent lighting and my mushrooms are hugh and they divide.
I have a mother colony of green stripes in the 55 gal with power compacts, (alitte shaded) and they divide.
I have a 17 gal black rubber maid container with one strip light that I use to grow mushrooms. I have blue mushrooms growing in the 90 gal with MH lights, they have been dividing and growing all along in the shade and under the shade of our leather.

They are very hardy and they do take time to adjust to the lighting. My mushrooms look the best around 3pm -
I also experimented with some of them and some like to be fed, that makes them grow faster.

I don't have alot of current on them either.
