growth....how fast?

A zoanthid rock I have had a bare spot on it yestarday but today there is about 14 new polyps where the bare spot was yesterday! I'm thinking maybe I'm seeing things. But I could sear they were not there the day before. :confused:
Is this kind of growth possible?
The xenia is spreading good too, but I won't even go into that!

It is possible. Seems like a lot to me but some zoo's really grow fast.
