What brand/model of PC lighting do you recommended for a 10gal AGA with 23lbs of live rock? This tank will be the home to softies, 6 peppermint shrimp, the usual assortment of cleanup crew and maybe a small goby once it's done cycling.

I've searched the forum and seen all the different models that are used, but I want to see what you recommend, and why.

Thanks,

Chad

If your into retrofit stuff, AH Supply (http://www.ahsupply.com) has excellent prices and good stuff. The cool thing about retro stuff, is you can put as many 36 watt bulbs as you can fit on top of your 10. For bulbs, Hello Lights (http://www.hellolights.com) has a 50/50 PC bulb that is actually actinic 03 on one side & 10,000k on the other. Good bulb.

In short, PC's will do the softies good. Get as many bulbs as you can fit and afford.

I had 48W 50/50 PC over my 10 gallon. I have a few ricordeas, mushrooms, blastomussa, some zoos. They are doing good.

i just purchased a 96W 50/50 PC 20"L corallife hood from hellolights for $98. The fans are very quite when compared to the noisy 48W 50/50 PC from JBJ
