got a question justjoe.

about the flashlight fish, since they are a squirrel am i right to assume they eat small goby's and shrimp. wat do you know about them, how big do they get? do you know if they are anamalops katoptron or photoblepharon palpebratus? thanks

They're anamalops and they don't get large, I doubt they can eat the other shrimp or gobies. They may be eating the juvenile bangaii cardinalfish though. Their mouths are not as large as a squirrels.

looking at pictures you are right they do have pretty small mouths. but it looks like the anomalops get about 12 inchs, and the photoblepharon stays at about 4 inches. I think I might try and get a photoblepharon. Thanks for the reply.
