Q about Starborad???

I have some nice round disk of starborad left over from a project on our boat.

If I take sem sand paper to them to get them a little ruff--would they be safe to use in a grow out tank?

What is the Starboard made of and what do you want to use it for? I assume it is made of fiberglass and you want to use it as a base for frags? If this is the case, it should be fine to use. I would cure it if freshwater for 3-5 days just to make sure nothing will not leach anything into your tank.

I wanted to use it as frag base(s). It is kind of like plexi on 'roids.
