Hey Guys, I finally got my digicam. I opted for the Canon G2 instead of G3 so I can get myself a Calcium Reactor. Anyway, here are some pics that came out halfway decent, still trying to learn how to use this thing. I'll probably be emailing Greg(gregr) until he blocks my email address:D Here they are!

I didn't place the right sideview because I have to get another pic, it's too big and I hope the rest of these aren't too big either. Let me know if you have any pointers, especially in how to make the pics less blue under Radiums.

Paul - yeah, you will have to time it on a weekend or evening. It took about 30-40 minutes for me to get home from your house though, but i was ****ed when a tire came across the freeway and i didn't see it on time and ran over it. Some scraps along my front bumper and along my front rim. Luckily it came off, i'm hoping the scrapes along the front comes off and it's just rubber that will come off. Ramon isn't too close to me either, i think he's another 1/2 hour away, so you will have some driving by the time you hit the both of us.


Nam, your tank will get there, it just takes a little patience. There's always a picture in everyones mind in how they want their tank to look and i'm not quite there, but thanks for the complement. You'll get there, but go slow, and learn from your mistakes.

Sounds good, what time were you planning on heading out here. I have someone coming by to pick up some frags in the morning which will be good if you want to come by then, i'll probably be out of the house around 12:30-1pm, you got my number, let me know

I hate you (I hate everybody who has a tank larger than mine....tank envy :D ). What size is it, anyways?

Looking very good, and with a G2 you'll be able to get some very good shots (I also have camera envy....).

Kevin - tanks 240g 8'x2'x2' with a 50g rubbermaid sump, the main reef discussion has more descriptions. A friend at work is taking photography classes and so he'll be able to give me some pointers. Alot of things in this camera to play around with.
