can you,,,?

can you get lps's like a candycane coral or frogspawn or hammer to attach to a substrate? cause they have long skeletons that have no tissue to grow onto a substrate, can you put em on sideways and see if they attach/?

I have never had any luck getting candycane, frogspawn or hammer corals to attach. They are a pain for me to keep in place. Super glue never lasts more than 6 months or so.

I have some candycane corals that have been laying on a rock for over a year and it hasn't even thought about attaching to it.
