New Info about the show!!!

Here are the marine classes for the SWMAS show:

Marine and Brackish fish-

So start getting your stuff ready, if you don't have any good stuff then go buy some. Check out the post on "the friday night at the show".

I almost forgot, but there will be the "Best of Marine award" this is for the best of all the winners of marine items. Usually a very nice trophy is given to the winner. On the trophy their is a very nice hand carved fish. Some of these fishes look so real that the first year when displayed, as people walked in they thought there were stuffed aqurium fish on the trophies.

Just to let you know...besides trophy for Best of
Marine, remember that there are cash prizes for first, second and thirdplaces. ($8. $5. $3.) Also let them know that the entry fee is just a measley dollar for each entry AND they can combine entries in a single tank as long as the judge can tell the entries apart. For example, if you have a tank with 8 purple corals and they're all the same size, you lose. If you have 3 purple corals, one extra large, one medium and one tiny, then it will be ok in the same tank. (a freshie perspective aint it refreshing?) :eek1:

Just to let you know any tank or bowl in the show will require something on the bottom, sand, crushed coral, whatever you guys use. (There are exceptions for killies.)[them killies do great in salt water] :rolleye1:
