I read that you are considering putting 175 watts of light on your 10 gallon tank and my eyes went like this :eek1:. My feeling is that it is a little excessive. I have a 15 gallon tank and it is doing great with 96 Watts which is high. But I am able to keep Maxima Clams and really nice corals. The other thing to consider is that you will be losing about 1/2-1 gallon of water a day due to evaporation.
