Female Clown acting like old girlfriend !!!

Carlos, I added two tank raised false clowns to my 75gal 3 months ago. They were the 14.99 size that you see 50 of in a small display tank. They have grown to about 1.5 to 1.75 inches and one has definitely became a female! All day long she beats on the smaller clown chasing him away,but at night when the lights go down, she is all snuggly and tail shaking with him. How long is she going to tease this poor fellow before she lets him do the dirty? I hope he has better luck with her than I had with my old honey.

PS GREAT TANK, deserves to be tank of the year!

This behavior will go on for a little while until the female is confortable enough and the male clown has made it clear that the female is the boss!

As long as the female is not beating the male clown badly, the pair will be fine.
