I was just looking at the new posts for all of reef central and these people got a good review. The price of the snails look very reasonable.

I have quite a few things to do today so I still plan to wait until Monday to place this order. What would you like to add to this order?

Jonathan,

When I went to place the online order the ticket totaled up and added $47.00 for shipping & handling. I backed out of the order and placed an e-mail to their office asking if this was correct.

I am going to wait for their reply before placing the order. I hope they will lower the S&H charges.

If they do not, does this seem like a fair charge & even if it is still a little high is this still a good price for these items?

Paul,
After talking with Brad about Nerites, I think I would like to cancel them from my order. Sorry to keep changing my order! BTW...the floridapets site says they discount shipping on orders over $30.
Thanks

Jonathan,

I placed the order about 7 o'clock this morning and didn't notice the cancellation of the snails. If you don't want them I guess I can put them in my refugium. I don't want to put them in the main tank if there is a chance my hog fish will eat them.

What did Brad say was their drawbacks? I just thought they would look tasty to some of my fish.

That is OK...I was somewhat torn between whether or not to order them. Brad said that they stay out of the water during the daytime. Also, he said they tend to come completely out of the tank. Not sure how my wife will like snails crawling across the living room.

Let me tell ya, 1 lb Caulerpa is alot of Caulerpa. Jonathan thanks for bringing the extra caulerpa also. The new snails are cool watching them come out for feeding.

The Nassarius are really neat. Feed the tank and all of a sudden they appear out of the sand. My sandbed is already looking better.
