HI GUYS<
I HAVE A 7G ECLIPSE TANK AND WANT TO KNOW IF A DWARF LIONFISH WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL??????? I CURRENTLY HAVE NO FISH AND 10POUNDS OF LIVEROCK. PLEASE HELP I NEED A FRIEND.

In a word, no. IMO, they are a little too big for a 7.
Small clownfish, firefish, damsels, and certain species of gobies are going to be better suited to your tank.

i have to go with the crowd here. even the smallest of the dwarf lions, fu manchu, gets to be 4 inches and i wouldnt reccommend squeezing him into a 7 gallon. firefish are pretty fish and you could keep a pair in a 7. you should really look into gobies and damsels like metamophis said

The smallest tank suitable for a dwarf lionfish is a 30g.

gets too big plus they are TOO dirty they will screw you water up too fast
