I'm moving to San Antonio in a few weeks and picked up a used saltwater tank. I've been wanting to start a saltwater talk for years and finally have the chance. The people I bought it from used a penguin bio wheel filter as their only method of filtration.
I'd like to use that, as well as an undergravel filter, and possibly a protein skimmer as well once I get settled in place.
I am hoping to have 3-4 smaller fish, some shrimp, and some crabs and snails in the tank. I've got 40 pounds of live rock that unfortunately have to store before I get down there. I'll be adding 10-15 pounds of new live rock once I get to Texas as well, since the "live rock" will probably not be "live" anymore.
Any thoughts or comments would be appriciated.
