Can we ever really have too much light :D ?

The only thing that you would really have to worry about is heat - the LOA lights can get pretty hot IME, so you'll have to watch your temp. It might be a little less of an effect if it is not an enclosed canopy.

I had some GSP, finger leather, mushroom leather and a small candy cane under a LOA light in a 15 gal refugium for a few months, and they did very well - good growth and expansion. However the color was a bit yellow for me. In general, a good light to keep a wide range of softies, and some LPS as well.

Just my $0.02

I have a 96 watt power quad over my 10 gallon. It's not too much
