nano water cloudy

Hi everyone, i have a 6 gallon nano, i did a 2 gallon water change yesterday, not new water but old water from my 30 gallon, the water now appears cloudy, is this normal or is it one of my corals is dying or something? thanks for any responses

Why did you do a water change with old water?? The purpose of a water change is fresh water. Even if you had pristine water quality in your 30, it would not be smart to do this change because it would not be as fresh as some new seawater. This is unless it is a new setup and you are looking to cycle it quicker. Give it a few days and it will return to normal but from now on I would reccomend new water as opposed to old water.

Hi yes thye reason i used my old water is because i didnt want my nano to cycle as well, the qater has cleared up, it is because i had a dying toadstool in the tank and i removed it, thank you.
