What would make the best/coolest fish for a 25 gallon FOWLR?

I would totally vote against any type of angelfish. They need a much larger tank and a mature tank.

I would suggest any of the following:

Mated pair of clowns
Royal Gramma
Gobies

I would stay away from big fish or fish that require lots of swimming space.

pairs of ocellaris clowns are always cool

smaller species of dottybacks

smaller kinds of wrasses


If your tank is a 30 incher you should be good with these fish

coral beauty angles they only get 3 inches

IMO flames would be okay and most any dwarf angel
