System 3 nanos?

Anyone using an eclipse system 3 (the three gallon system)?

I assume that I'll be going skimmerless, and that 13w pc retros are the way to go, but I'd welcome the experience and thoughs of others.

Don't suppose this is much help, but I've had a standard, unmodified System 3 set up for a month or two now with some live sand, excellent live rock, and hermit crabs - not a very advanced setup, but there's tons of life in there and everything seems happy enough. The original plan was to upgrade the lighting and so on, but I think I'll be switching to a 20g instead.

Took the biowheel/filter/etc out of the system as soon as the water cleared, and there's a tiny powerhead in there to keep water moving.
