End of the hobby?

Hey MASNA! I was wondering if JohnB or anyone else at MASNA has discussed the linked to subject matter with MAC or AMDA? This appears to be a significant issue that could directly affect our hobby in some pretty dramatic ways. What's something I'd like to see MASNA do? Speak for the hobby and interface with the industry players in an attempt to hopefully lobby the FAA to not proceed down this road... I'll admit to not being that smart on this issue, but if it is the problem it appears to be, then I hope MASNA will be on the tip of the spear in preventing it's occurence.

I forwarded all links to OMAS members and BOD of clubs in Oklahoma City. The proposed regulation doesn't look good to me either and hopefully the MASNA BOD is working on this.

Hi all!

John Brandt, MASNA legal affairs rep, is aware of the issue and has been checking into it for the last several days with his many resources.

Preliminary things I've been hearing is that the stuff doesn't directly apply to our hobby.

Please rest assured that it is being looked into and MASNA will post pertainant, well researched information as soon as it is available.
