Hi all, here are pics of my 20g. The lighting is 1 x 175w 10,000k ushio, supplemented by 2 x 28w 03 pc actinics. Filtration is a prizm skimmer, and around 40 lbs lr. Circulation provided by two aquaclear 301 powerheads, a zoomed, and an empty aquacler 300 which I run carbon in once a week. Any questions, feel free to ask.:)

Acros, I have turquoise formosa, a couple varieties of purple tip valida, loripes, purple tipped green acro, dark purplish/blue acro, furry dark stag, millepora type colony, encrusting bluish montipora, orange cap, green polyp purple digitata, orange polyp digitata, purple millepora, green millepora, purple tip vagahouni, green cap, purple rim cap, green pocillopora, green montipora spongodes, and thats all I can think of. As you can see, I have many varieties but i am very much trying to cut these down to a few larger colonies and frags, so they are not overly crowded when older. It is a 20t btw.

Just curious, what are the dimensions of a 20T?

I am going to set up an SPS nano for my office cube and was thinking the 20T would be perfect.

Seeing your setup as well as Lunchbucket's, give me the "nano jones" even more than I already have it!

Great looking tank!

Hi all. That montipora spongodes is from a fellow reefer, and its doing great, has to be one of my favorite pieces. Those blue frags are sponges, has them only a week or so, but they've been doing good. They're photosynthetic I believe. And dimensions for a 20T, its a standard 20, so 12 x 24 by height(sorry forgot this measurement). Thanks for the kind comments folks:) .

That's OK. Using basic algebra, I determined that the height is 16" tall. (Isn't math fun! :)

Wonderful tank! I hope my nano will be that beautiful someday.

Just curious, how is the Prizm working out for you? I'm considering one for my 12g. Do you have any pics of the skimmer in operation?

Thanks. The prizm works good, I'll take a few pics.

This is strange... RC sent me 3 email alerts that you posted in this thread, cal3v. I can't see anything since your post at 2:57 PM CST. Did you post anything, or is RC just really screwed up? Possibly both?

BEAUTIFUL!!! Veyr nice tank, I love the colors! I think when I set-up a 180 I'm going with 3-250 10K ushios or 400's.

P.S. Merry Christmas!

Thanks Rock anemone. And Merry Christmas to you too! I keep calcium/alk up with kalkwasser in the auto-top off water, and I also add reefchem calcium from time to time. And speaking of roses, here is another shot of the little guy where he's the main focal point:

Cal3v thats a really nice looking tank.
I need some frags reveal your source and secrets
BTW how do you keep your temp and evaporation stable

cal3v
12/29/2002, 03:38 AM
My source are lfs and other reefers primarily. Temp is stable with a 150w visi-therm heater, and a small pc fan blowing across the surface to increase evap. rates, and evap. is kept constant with an automatic float switch which turns on a pump in my bucket of water and kalk to fill up the tank. hth:)
