Hi Ron,

A couple of months ago, I was down in Jupiter(just north of West Palm) Fl. I did some collecting in an inlet. Brought home some Caulerpa, mangroves, seagrass, and some mangrove mud. In the mess, a little snail hitchhiked along. It reminds me a lot of a nassarius type snail. An ideas what it might be? He's pretty quick when I add food to the tank.

Hi Mark,

It is a Nassarius. There are 3-4 species that are found in Florida.

:D :D

How cool! I collected my own Nassarius! Next time I'm visiting family, I guess I will see if I can find some more. I suspected it was a Nassarius, but wanted to leave that call to the gastropod expert. Thank you! It's really great to have you back. Its like the old reefcentral again!

Mark,

Glad to help.

Thank John and Larry for convincing me to return.
