What type of paint did anyone use to paint the inside of their hood? Is Marine paint necessary? I suppose this question is too late since i already painted it with an exterior flat white. I just want to know if I messed up.

Hey Portelli, I used an exterior paint for mine as well, although I used a glossy white thinking it would reflect a little better. I think as long as you allow for proper drying time, you'll be fine.

Reality is merely a short-lived perception, make of it what you will.

Actually flat white is a better reflector. I think. Don't ask me why.

Flat white is a great reflector. People recomend marine paint because it will holdup better in the salt environment. I would be willing to bet, that because of the cost, more poeple just use an exterior paint like you did.
I did
