I'm upto about 2500 gallons, mixed clown breeding and coral prop operation.

Does everyone buy chemicals from Kent or other suppliers or do you mix your own ?

Calcium (have reactors but liquid calcium is added weekly), Iodine, Strontium, not much else.

Would love some input as I am in the process of buying the 5 gallon pails of these products.

Actually, I dont add anything to my tanks. They all running on a calcium reactor and that is it. I use Special Grade Crushed Coral Sand as media and that works for me. Sometimes, adding chemicals creates more of an inbalance. Let the system balance itself naturally. With water changes, you are replenishing all the basic chemicals needed.
