I have a 34g RSM being delivered to me and a spare 20g tank in my room right now.

I was thinking about converting it into a sump and was wondering if i will have to drill the RSM? or is it reef ready?

It's reef ready, no drilling needed. For a sump you would need to do a over flow I believe. There is a cut out in the back of the lid that you can fit the return hose in. Check the RSM thread it has a ton of good information about the tank. Good luck with your new purchase!
