Planning to drill my 30G bowfront display tank and put a 20G tank as a sump. If I put the overlfow box at the side of the tank, where to put the return nozzle?
I am going to use eheim 2150 (317GPH) as a return pump, should I use two return nozzles or just one return nozzle?

anyone has the link or picture to show how the side overflow tank looks like after the llive rock and coral put in?

I would go on the opposite side if you're only having one return... With headloss that pump will not be able to pump through 2 returns. My pump is about 600gph after headloss and it's not putting out a ton through 2 returns. I might cap one of just to get some pressure.

The pump that I will use has a very good reputation Eheim 1250 (317gph). I assume the headloss will not too much. then I am going to put two ball valve for each return pipe for flow control, maybe create more headloss.....

Hi, I have the same setup, I use two returns and put a squid in between the returns, this way I get an alternating current, works great for me, and I think you`ll be happy withit. Good luck.:D
