Hey all,
I am looking to set up a nano tank. I have a 90 gallon tank already so I am not new to the hobby but new to the nano aspect of it. I guess I shouldn't say nano but pico. I was either looking to having a custom tank built or buy one and drill it. I haven't decided yet but I will either tie it into my 90 gallon tank or just put a sump on it. Ok so here are my questions:
1- Can you drill the little 3 gallon Picotopes?
2- Would it be a better idea to tie it into my 90 or should I just put it on its own system.
3- Is there any other rimless tanks that are already drilled that I can just buy? I am looking for something around 3-8 gallons. And I really like the looks of the rimless tank.
4- I am thinking I want to put a 70 watt halide over this tank for a little SPS tank. Would this be too much? Also is there somewhere that sells 70 watt halide retros or pendants for a decent price?
5- I was looking at the JBJ Viper 70 watt halide, are these any good?
I have plenty more questions but I'll stop there!
Thanks for reading!
Matt
