Got these from Orcutt last week. Got them for $50. Did I get a good deal?

$50 each or for the pair? If it was for the pair that was a great deal. the one on the left looks like a superman montin or something similiar. the right looks like a red monti digitata or encrusting red.

Yes it was $50 for both. The one on the left has polyps that are starting to come out a reddish color. They didn't know what they were selling so they just put out a number. Lucky me!

One of the monti is a superman, and the other is either a pokerstar, or a purple encrusting monti, and $50 was a steal.

That's what I tought. I know the superman alone should've been over $50.

That Superman alone goes for $75- $150. So you got a smokin deal.

Bleh, the lighting at Orcutt Aquarium makes it hard for the colors to come out... If you have better lighting than OA (14k+) then you will be able to tell what they are. Anything under 14K lighting SPS tends to look a little drab, IMO anyway. Also, if it was originally aquaculture then you really won't know what you bought until they acclimate to your tank/lights. Please keep us posted on how they are coloring up :)

place them in a 14K to 20K Halide they should color up to danae's or verucosa

Right now there are in 14K 250W.
