any problems running these stock? i want to get one for my nephew. can they be successfully run with the stock equipment, top off and water changes? whaddya think?

Sounds like a good plan. I'm ordered a nanocube deluxe, mainly because there was a great deal.

They work great in stock form. They do better with some mods but it's not needed.
