If you had to have only one or the other what would you choose to put on you nano a Skimmer or a Refugi..... What is you vote and why???

What size is a Nano to you?

neither is necessary in a nano...as water changes in a nano pretty much fix the water up nicely...but if the choice were mine i would say refugium, as it increases the total water volume by a couple gallons..and if your fuge is big enough you can put a skimmer in there...

i agree neither is necessary, and i usually run my nano's without either.

i think on my next nano though, I'm going to try another skimmer.

I think the question is too vague. What type of skimmer are we talking about? How big of a refugium? on what setup?

I like fuge. Weekly water changes will pull out what a skimmer would anyway, so kind of fruitless to have one. I like the fuge because it provides a nice food supply. Every tank Ive had that had a refuge did a lot better because the fuge's food.
