I was looking at the 8g biocube and was wondering if anyone had experience trying to keep hard corals under their PC lights?

SPS - No you need better lighting
LPS - Yes

Like mojo said, no you cant keep sps under there, but probably some lps.

I'm going to disagree here. I bought a zoa frag that had a little 1/2" montipora on it a year ago. Under only one 65W pc in my 20 gal long, the Monti is now over 3" long, nearly 2" wide and overwhelming the Zoas! Last month I spotted another spot about 1/8" diameter. It's now almost 1/2" long and 1/4" wide and looks like a green polyp monti. No idea where it came from since I haven't added any rock or frags to the tank for a year now. I know monti's are one of the easier, lower light SPS...but all the same, I'm getting great growth under PC lighting.
