Overflow for 10 gal.

I've had my 10gal nano set up for about 2 weeks. I did a DIY fuge using an AC 70. It's working fine but I want to surface skim using it. I would like to put an internal overflow in but can't tear down the tank to silicone one in.

Anybody know where i could find a 4 sided overflow box that would fit under the uplift tube of the AC 70? Smaller is better, thanks.

I got an internal corner overflow for my 10 gallon. It measures 4" x 4" x 2". Got it from wetdryfilter.com, Christian Schwalm, the owner is very helpful. I only drained 6" of water in my full display. Luckily the hole in the glass was already drilled in the back wall. I held it in place with a C-clamp and glued it with silicone rubber cement. Here is a pictue of the overflow:

The first one!!! I need that basket skimmer thingy. I can adapt it to fit my Aqua clear thats no problem. If I can find one of those or a whole filter for cheap I'll be set.

I threw this one together last night as a temp. It's just a notched out top for an air powered UGF tube, some aquarium tubing, and an elbow. It works ok but is kinda ugly.

not sure if you have to take into account evap or if you have auto top-off....also not sure if either of the ones in the links do either

Only a 10 gal, evap is minimal. For now I add less than a quart of DI water a day by hand. It's really only about 1/8 of an inch drop in water level.

I thought about getting some pvc pipe and notch the top with teeth, and stick the aquaclear intake tube into the pipe. so it sucks the water through the teeth and down into the intake strainer. You could use a 2" or 4" pipe and cut it in half length wise, making it a half circle, then place it against the back wall. You would still need to silicone it, or maybe use some marine epoxy to secure it with water still in the tank. Jon
