I was surprised this afternoon when I saw that my Ocellaris Clown Fish had laid eggs just outside the hammer coral they've been hosting in for the past two years.

Great, Chris!
So, they've been doing the 'happy dance', have they?
Nice to hear - it's what we like about our little reef's - wet nature!

Very cool did you have any luck raising any of the fry?

Nope - They definitely matured though. They turned more brownish. Then I began to see little reflective signs of life in each (almost like a miniscule air bubble). Then they were gone (after a couple of weeks).

There were some great articles on clown fish breeding in some of the trade mags this month. Tropical fish hobbyist was one.
