View Full Version : Biocube 29 Bad ballast.....help!

Ok so my biocube is up and running for a month and today my actinic ballast quits. I switched the ballasts to check them and sure enough it was blown. Anyone else have this problem?
Does anyone have any warranty contact info? i can find my manual but not the warranty info card. thanks in advance!

Call 1-800-255-4527 and ask for the warranty department. My ballast went out on my BC14 and they mailed me a new one no questions asked. took about a week to get it.

how did you run your lights until the new one came? did you just run your daylights? I only have some GSP, Zoas, and a mushroom in there.

i'd look for a local reefer with a spare light you can temporarily use.

I had the same thing happen to me....it blew out on my actinic bulb, too.
They shipped me two new ballasts.
i just ran the daylight bulb until the new ones came.

I just ran my daylight bulb until the new ballast came. Everything was fine.

Seems to be a common prob with the biocubes.
you will be fine with the light you have for a while!
