Ok, not really. Its beautiful, and my goby started living in it almost immediately. It isn't bleached, its not sick, and .... well check it out. Can anyone identify it?

Also, the polyps are out, so let me say again, it is not sick in any way. Any ideas what this thing is?

Hi bkraus,

Gary's thought sounds very true - if it is an SPS, Acro should fit the bill.

Is it SPS?

I have had corals come back from bleached after weeks of leaving them alone. They do tend to expell their zooxanthelliae during stress.

After reading a bit more around, it appears that it is bleached. The tips are blue, and it is fully polyped after just one night. I wonder what will happen to this. Apparently it was wild aquacultured. Two bi-valves live in it.

How bad is it that my goby likes to sit in it?

Damn, I hate this can't edit after an hour thing. Reading this has me all confused, since the coral is extremely healthy, fully polyped this morning...

If it isnt already fully dead, it will be with that yellow goby all over it.
