removing aquapod hood

ok i would like to remove my aquapod hood and possibly update. can anyone give me instructions on how to remove it. an not a link to a website. i am just not smart like that and i cant figure out how to remove it by the manual. thanks so much.

This works for my nanocube, might work for you to.

Stand in front of the tank.
Raise the lid so it's fully open.
Put your stomach against the front of the tank (for support so you don't knock the tank off the stand).
Put your right hand by the hings on the right side of the tank and gently pull forward. Your hinge may be different, might have to go kinda up and forward.

Once you have one hinge off do the same for the other side.


Give that a try.
