I've been trying for a week now to insert a picture onto my thread. To my disappointment, I can't get it. I've read the HOW TO thread and F.A.Q. thread. CALL ME FORREST GUMP. Is there instructions for the TECHNICALLY impaired people like me. :eek1: . I would like to show the birth of my new BABY BOY.

It's a AP12 FOWLR.

I would just goto photobucket.com

Upload the pictures onto that site.

Then copy the html link that the picture will have in your photo album.

Then paste that link into your thread.

Hopefully this helps some, I don't know if its the preferred way to do this but it has always worked for me!

Thanks for the recommendation. I went to Photobucket downloaded this downloaded that and copied this to paste that, I give up.

If any of you whipper snappers want to make $$$$$$. Write a book for DUMMIES on how to download pics from the internet website. Step by Step instructions. Call it How to Download For Old Folks.

How far did you get in photobucket? Do you have the pictures uploaded to photobucket? If you have gotten the pictures uploaded on Photobucket there will be 4 different options to choose. You can either

1. Email/IM
2. Direct link
3. HTML Tag
4. IMG code

When ever I post on here I just copy the IMG code (#4 option). Then just paste it in your reply. The picture should pop up when you post/preview the reply.

Hope that helps.

Log into PhotoBucket and click the My Album tab at the top.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q143/SPerry5531/Img1.jpg

That will take you to this screen.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q143/SPerry5531/Img2.jpg

Click the top Browse button, a new window will open. Find the pic you want to upload, highlight it and click open.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q143/SPerry5531/Img5.jpg

That will add the pic to the upload list. Repeat for additional images. Once you get them all in the list click the Upload button.

When the upload finishes it will take you back to the screen you were on. Scroll down a little and you should see some thumbnails of the images.

Under the thimbnail look for the text labeled IMG Code. Copy that including the brackets into your post. The image should show up.

It is Win XP Pro with a lot of mods. The browser is FireFox with the AquaTint Black theme. Win XP has WindowBlinds (http://www.wincustomize.com/store/?type=software) running with Vectra Theme (http://www.wincustomize.com/gallery.aspx) colored to grey.
