Ohhh that's awful. My light fixture came in flawlessly from them today. Current USA seem to be pretty good with their customer service. I hope you get your new tank soon!

Did that come directly from Current? I'd be very disappointed too with that packing job for a glass tank...

Sweet cardboard box packing.

Have you tried filling it yet to test for leaks?

My light just arrived from PhishyBusiness with no issues. Serdar over there is excellent. I've ordered from him multiple times and he's a bit crazy about packing things like a tank, so I suspect that's Current's packaging job.

My tank shipped today from Scott at Aquatic Systems Design. Now here's how a tank should be packaged, and it's only a 16g acrylic..:p 79lb. shipping weight..:eek2:

yeah I kinda expected a box inside another but nope just the retail box and I don't think it was drop shipped because of the lables and location it came from.

I guess they took the term "drop" ship seriously.

what the heck is wrong with those people? have they never shipped before?
I have computer towers shipped in heavy bubble wrap all the time and they STILL get banged up, sometimes they get whacked hard enough to knock the cpu fans right off...
I think it is a test by ups/fedex to see how rough they can actually be with some stuff.
..and remember..
FRAGILE translates to FOOTBALL.

Well my replacement is on the way. Serdar has great customer service and took care of me right away. From talking to him all the others that he sent had Styrofoam padding on the inside. Mine didnt so it looks like it was a mess up from current. He checked the new one and then added more packaging. So it should make it in one piece. All i got to so say is awsome service from phishybusiness. I will def order from them again.

Thanks,
Nathan

"Fragile"?

Must be Italian.

lol exactly.

I just had a 12g aquapod w/ 70w mh from Marine Depot come in yesterday. The outer box was 48" long, opening that was packing peanuts and another box about 36" long. Inside that one was another box, inside that one was styro on the corners and the aquapod box itself. Took me a while to get that sucker out but it was in perfect shape.
