got a spare HOB bio-bag filter, Can I put bags with Active Carbon into the filter a couple days just for polishing the water? I think if just use it a couple days, Nitrate will not be boomed up, will it?

If just a couple days, do i have to replace with the new bag every time? can I just pull them out and make them dry and reuse it a few more times?

After making sure the bags are rinsed well, you can put them in for several hours. It's not necessary to leave them in for 48 hours to polish.

You can reuse them. I would recommend rinsing them well with some distilled water(to loosen detritus) and you should be good to go for next time.

thanks, i got my RO/Di unit last week, the ro/di water is free to me. That is not a problem to rinse the bads with good water.
