Since the threads have been closed in the other local reef forum, i'm not sure what all of the beeswax was about with Sea Critters depot, but I can tell you that the owner has really gone way out of his way to help me on a difficult tank installation in my home. He was having to squeeze me in-between his regular maintenance appointments and was very reasonable about the costs of the installation job (A 185 gallon show tank).
I don't think anyone in town would have done it without charging me an arm and a leg. Bruce has treated me fairly and despite what other people's opinions are, I fully support his shop and frequent it often.
Bruce has the nicest selection of live corals and fish in town and is one of the few people i'd trust to work on my tanks. I say that with no offense to Steve or any of the people on the south end. There's room in Horry county for two saltwater pet shops.
