AP 12: Replacing the stock return with MJ 900

I replaced the stock pump with the MJ 900 but i noticed that the stock tubing does not fit as snuggly over the output on the mj 900 as it did on the return pump? did people use dif tubbing or kept org?

Also i notice on the stock return piping( the y shapped plastic thing that comes with tank that actually spits the water back into tank) that on both of the branches only half of the shoot spits water. Is that normal?

I used the MJ1200 and it fit perfectly. Very snug. As far as the branches, water follows the path of least resistence. If the water is blowing out of the return, it is going to be stronger out of the one that is more in line with the return.
