R2 Moonlights Rock !

Hi everyone,

If you have a Red Sea Max and want brighter moonlights but not too bright so that it looks like day, get the R2 Moonlights. I got the blue ones and man they make your tank look so cool ! The water shimmers and the colors of coral get florescent !

I only turn them on at the last 2 hours of the night before I go to bed then the stock moonlights stay on.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know because I was soooooo frustrated with the stock moonlights.

I second that. I got the dual (10 leds) and the tank just glows at night.

can you post a pic of how you mounted the new moonlights please. I have been wanting to do this but couldnt figure it out.

Ok so here are a few shots. Now remember I have the Red Sea Max. The led tube sits in plastic brackets. It comes with double stick pads you stick to the bottom of each bracket. Then I just stuck it to the inside of the plastic light shield and fed the cord out the back. It plugs right into the wall. Oh and it is $32 from Nanotuners
