Im super excited about this guy, I got him from the LFS today.

Is this an Alien eye Chalice?

The edges are SUPER fragile and tend to curl downward.

No way is that a war coral. That is definitely some kind of echino. ATL has one very similar. Ming has identified it as Echino Taylorae. I have seen his in person and it shares the same intense red with neon green eyes, but yours seem to have larger more elongated eyes. I say one of the nicest i have seen in a while.

Yep. One of the alien eye echinophyllia morphs. Nice coral.

www.atlantisaquarium.net = ATL it is a LFS here in my area and also an online dealer. Seems to get the best stuff first. Once again, awesome chalice. If you ever decide to ship, name your price or we can trade. I have a bunch of different watermelons.

Looks nothing like a taylorae which is almost mycedium'ish looking. More likely an Echinophyllia aspera, or Oxypora lacera.
