Just got this and was wondering what it was. It was sold as an open brain but I have'nt been able to find out what kind, and was also wondering where to place it.

Very hard to define with the picture clarity, color wise looks like it could be lobophyllia or trachyphyllia, Im going with the latter until a clearer pic is posted;)
