Any idea where to get some sand used for a DSB. I've read about this Southdown sand but i heard its only avail in the northeast. Anything similar we can use around here? Thanks...

I have read that you can use the sand they use for sand blasting. There are a good number of companies around here that probably have that. If they will sell you some is a different matter. I think you can also use the silica sand but it doesn't help with buffering.
Or can maybe get a group of people to chip in on a palet of Southdown to be shiped to Home Depot. If it's sold in one of they're stores anywhere they can get it shipped to them but there is a cost. I bet a few people would be willing to do that.

I would be willing to pitch in (for the Home Depot option). Maybe this would be a good thing to organize at one of the meetings....
